A teenager has been arrested following the murder by Northwick Park underground station.

The boy, 16, was arrested on suspicion of murder on Monday (November 16) and he currently remains in police custody at a north London police station.

Police were called last Thursday (November 12) at 3.30pm to Northwick Park following reports of a stabbing near the underpass leading to the tube station.

The victim is said to be from the Harrow area and his next of kin was informed.

He became the sixteenth teenager to be murdered in the capital this year.

His family previously issued out a statement which said: "The whole family is deeply saddened and utterly devastated about the passing of Jamalie. We all knew of his ambition to study Law, and coming to terms with the tragedy that has unfolded still feels so surreal.”
