FIREFIGHTERS were called to a fire at a high-rise building.
Six engines rushed to Goldstone House in Clarendon Road, Hove, at 10.26pm last night amid reports of a fire on the ground floor.
Smoke filled several parts of the block of flats after a fire in a tumble dryer.
Pictures from the scene show members of East Sussex Fire and Rescue preparing to enter the high-rise in masks.
"All people were accounted for," a spokeswoman for the service said.
Fire engines and police cars lined up along the road while the emergency services dealt with the incident.
Firefighters still remained at the scene of the building, near Hove Station, at 11.45pm.
