Peter Andre was spotted taking a seat in front of the big screen at a cinema in Harrow.

The Harrow-born TV personality made a surprise visit to the Vue cinema at the St George's Shopping Centre following its refurbishment.

With the cinema introducing new recliner seats, Peter Andre was invited with his children, Junior and Princess, and his brother's family to make use of the seats in a private screening of Rocky III.

Every seat in each of its 12 screens have been refurbished and include fold-away tray tables, to help create a comfortable feel for all movie enthusiasts.

Peter Andre said: "It was a genuine pleasure being invited to experience Vue Harrow's upgraded venue.

"I know how important having a local cinema is because it provides a real escape from daily routines for everyone, and as a film fan myself, I remember the excitement of going to a cinema to see new films with my family and friends.

"To me, watching a film on the big screen has always had a magical quality to it and it’s a genuine source of excitement when a film you want to watch is showing at the cinema. That’s why it was so great to see Rocky III back on the big screen.

"With all that’s going on right now, it was perfect to be able to go to Vue and switch off from the outside world for a little while – and in those new Recliner seats, it couldn’t be easier."

The foyers have also been improved to include 'Snacks and Seats Touch Screens', which allows for an easier way for visitors to buy drinks, food and tickets.

Steve Rhind-Tutt, General Manager at Vue Harrow, said: “We couldn’t think of having anyone better along to mark the opening of our upgraded site, as Peter is a Harrow-local.

"We also know how busy Peter’s schedule is, so it’s our pleasure to be able to offer him the opportunity to switch off along with his family."
