Four people have been charged following a teenager being attacked in an alleyway.
Police were called on July 7 at around 3.15pm, to reports of a boy, 15, being attacked in an alleyway off Market Street, Harlow.
Once at the scene, the victim was taken to hospital for treatment.
Police say they believe it was a targeted attack, and after investigations with the Harlow Town Centre Team and community policing team, four people were arrested.
The four suspects appeared at Chelmsford Magistrates’ Court last Friday (July 10) and were remanded in custody to appear at Chelmsford Crown Court on August 7.
They were all charged with assault causing actual bodily harm.
This included:
• Sharon McCarthy, 52, of Hadley Grange, Harlow
• Nigel Waters, 36, of Fullers Mead, Harlow
• John Francis, 50, of Parkway, Harlow
• Kane McCrisken, 26, of Quarry Spring, Harlow
