People can have their say on plans to build a 14-storey development with hundreds of homes in Seven Kings.
Two live webinars will be held this week, tonight and on Saturday morning, to allow residents to watch a presentation and ask questions of Redbridge Living, Redbridge Council’s development company.
The company plans to build 236 homes, space for start-ups and local businesses, a GP surgery and a library on the site on Seven Kings High Road.
The public consultation will run until July 24, after which the company will submit the final design for planning approval.
Previous feedback from residents resulted in the height of the scheme being reduced from 19 storeys to 14 storeys and stepping the buildings back to reduce the height seen from the street.
Currently, Redbridge Living proposes to provide 35 per cent affordable housing in the scheme, which is the minimum required by the council’s policy but short of their target of 50 per cent.
The two webinars will take place today (July 9) from 6pm to 7.30pm and on Saturday (July 11) from 10am to 11.30am.
