A MAN has been charged with attempted murder following a stabbing.
Lyndsey Thomas Harkin, 29, of Swift Close, Blackburn, has also been charged with robbery and is due to appear at Preston Magistrates Court.
Police were called at shortly after 7.50pm on Wednesday July 1 to the report that a man had been stabbed at a house on Lower Hollin Bank Street in Blackburn.
The victim, 35, suffered stab wounds to his head, neck and arm was taken to Royal Preston Hospital for treatment.
A 25-year-old woman from Blackburn, who was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder, and a 20-year-old woman from Blackburn, who was arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender, have both since been released under investigation.
Police released an appeal last Thursday to speak to Harkin about the stabbing and he was eventually arrested on Friday afternoon.
