Four people who have been charged after a fight outside a home have been named.
Police received reports of a "disturbance" in Blackhorse Lane, North Weald shortly before 9pm on Saturday, January 11.
It was reported that a woman was struck with a baseball bat. She was taken to hospital with serious head injuries.
Four people will appear at Chelmsford Magistrates Court later this month.
- Jamie Cullen, 32, of Blackhorse Lane, North Weald, has been charged with grievous bodily harm with intent, affray, sending a threatening message and criminal damage. He will appear in court on Thursday, July 23.
- Charlotte Brooks, 31, of Crown Drive, Romford, has been charged with affray. She will appear in court on Monday, July 20.
- Connor Didham, 26, of Lower Meadow, Harlow, has also been charged with affray and will be in court on Monday, July 20.
- Shaun Reilly, 30, of no fixed address, has been charged with affray, assault by beating of an emergency worker and using threatening behaviour. He is due in court on Monday, July 20.
