A man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after a woman was critically injured at a residential address in the Stonegrove area of Edgware last night.
The man was known to the victim, Scotland Yard has said.
Police were called at around 6.35pm on Saturday, March 2 to reports of a critically injured woman at an address in Penniwell Close.
Officers attended the location along with London Ambulance Service. A woman, aged in her 50s, was taken to hospital where her condition is critical.
