- The Conservatives have won tonight's by-election held in Borehamwood.
- Four candidates were vying for the vacant seat in Kenilworth ward after Labour's Kumail Kaffer resigned at the beginning of the year.
- After all the votes were counted at the Civic Centre in Borehamwood, Tory candidate Brett Rosehill was victorious with 776 votes, which sees the Tories gain from Labour.
- Dan Ozarow, who lost out on lots in last May's borough elections to Mr Jaffer, came in second place with 655 votes.
- Andy Lewis finished third for the Lib Dems with 104 votes while John Humphries, standing as the Green candidate, won 50 votes.
