TWO mobs of youths were moved on by police after 'causing annoyance' last night.
Halliwell neighbourhood officers were called to Chorley Old Road where the large group had congregated at about 8pm.
Police were later called to a large group of 20 youths who had gathered in Chorley New Road at about 10pm.
Greater Manchester Police Bolton Central posted on Facebook at 8pm: "Good evening all. Halliwell team have been on patrol tonight.
"Reports of youths causing annoyance near takeaways in Chorley Old Road.
"Youths have walked off when we have arrived at scene. #whereareyourchildren."
They later posted: "PCSO Flannery and PCSO Thornley have been on patrol in Horwich tonight as part of Operation Alban.
"A group of 20 youths congregated in Chorley New Road. Youth advised and moved on. Hopefully gone home. Mother nature is helping it's raining.#gohome #brew #everybodyin #itsraining."
