A Shetland pony missing following a break-in at a park farm has been found and returned to its rightful home.
Jasmine the pony had been missing from Foxburrows Farm Zoo in Hainault Forest Country Park after the farm was broken into on the night of November 24.
Two peafowl and a rabbit are still missing.
Jasmine was discovered last night by a shocked resident who said the pony had been "dumped" outside their home by "thugs".
Little Xmas Miracle ;-)

Dear @guardian can you maybe help? Police & RSPCA were so far not “immense” helpful. Thugs have “dumped” 2h ago at our front garden the stolen Shetland pony from Hainault Forest Country Park! Would be great if the owners would contact me. Thanks a lot! pic.twitter.com/1Y4o2Pze4g
After a couple of hours, Jasmine was collected and taken home.
Happy End with a Big Thank you to Social Media!

Jasmine the Shetland pony from #HainaultForestCountryPark is now on its way home! 🙏
Let’s hope we will find the thugs, who have stolen her in the first place & “dumped” it on our doorstep today! pic.twitter.com/NrpaNUOuXx
In a statement on Facebook, Hainault Forest Country Park said: “Jasmine is home where she belongs.
“It wouldn't have been possible without all of the help and support we have received from so many people giving up their time to physically search for her, sharing her information on line, offers of help with transport and the wonderful group of people who kept her safe until we could collect her.
“Heartfelt thanks to all of you, and particularly Sharon Hope for driving through the freezing fog to collect her.”
Met Police officers from the East Area Command Unit are investigating; there have been no arrests.
