Police are investigating reports of a shooting in the early hours of the morning.
The Met Police were called to reports of multiple gunshots at 12.40am on Sunday, November 3 in Augustine Road, Harrow.
Officers, including firearms officers, attended but found no trace of any victim or suspect.
One witness described seeing an individual, who they believed to be the victim, drive off from the scene.
Police were subsequently called to a hospital after a man, aged in his late 30s, self-presented with a gunshot wound.
He remains in a stable condition; his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
Trident detectives from Specialist Crime are leading the investigation.
There have been no arrests and enquiries continue.
