There will be temporary traffic lights in a busy road in Watford for a month.
Lights will be in place in Bushey Mill Lane near the junction of Sandown Road from October 28 to November 29.
Affinity Water is carrying out a lead replacement programme.
The first week should not be too bad due to it being half-term but drivers may want to find alternative routes as the month progresses.
Other key roadworks happening in our area over the next two weeks include:
- Clarendon Road closed between Shady Lane and Station Road from October 26 to November 3 due to bridge installation work
- Two-way lights currently in Clarendon Road opposite Watford Employment Tribunal court until October 28
- Cassio Road shut October 28-November 15 between Marlborough Road and Market Street
- Merton Road closed until October 26 between Market Street and Vicarage Road
- Lane closure on A41 near junction of Tudor Avenue October 28-November 2
- A41 closed for resurfacing between 8pm and 5am each night from November 4-15 between Woodmere Avenue and M1 slip roads.
- Two-way signals High Road Bushey, near junction of Rudolph Road on October 25
- Two-way signals High Road, Bushey, near junction of Windmill Lane on November 6-8
- Two-way signals Pinner Road near Sherwoods Road October 28-November 2
- Two-way signals Tolpits Lane near Croxley View October 28-30
- Two-way signals Tolpits Lane near Chenies Way October 24-November 6
- Multi-way signals Watford Road at junction of Winton Drive, Croxley, October 28
- Multi-way signals Watford Road at junction of Yorke Road, November 5
- Two-way lights A41 near Shell petrol station on November 3
