An earlier crash on the M1 is causing problems for drivers this evening.
A crash happened around an hour ago on the northbound carriageway just before j6 for Bricket Wood, closing one lane.
All lanes reopened around 40 minutes ago but delays have yet to clear - in fact the delays are getting longer as people begin to leave work.
It is slow from just after j4 for Edgware, and particularly busy at j5 for Watford.
The A41 is also solid between the M1 at j5 and the Dome roundabout.
Drivers can expect delays throughout the rush hour.
