A nursery maintains another 'good' rating from Ofsted.

Bright Horizons Northwick Park Day Nursery and Preschool has been rated ‘good’ after its most recent Ofsted inspection on August 13.

The nursery matched the 'good' rating in all four areas of inspection: Effectiveness of the leadership and management; quality of teaching; learning and assessment; personal development; behaviour and welfare; and outcomes for children.

Ofsted inspectors concluded that the staff offer a welcoming and inclusive learning environment and there was a good monitoring on the children’s needs and progression.

The report did however note that staff do not always provide many opportunities to help older children who prefer more outdoor sessions and that some activities are not organised well enough to keep the children fully motivated.

Nursery manager Lorna Cook said, “We are delighted to receive such a positive report, this endorsement from Ofsted recognises all the hard work that my team has put in to ensure that every aspect of care and education is provided at the highest level for our children.

“As always our fundamental aim remains to offer exceptional care and education to our families whom we pride ourselves on having a fantastic partnership with.”

Ofsted recommended that the nursery could improve further by reviewing the daily routines to keep children fully interested in learning.

The nursery has maintained its previous ‘good’ rating from January 2018, the previous rating was seen as a massive improvement from it’s June 2016 rating where it required improvement.
