‘Connected Communities: Harrow’ is a competition to fund five projects that can provide a positive change to people in disadvantaged positions and making meaningful changes to the community of Harrow.

To win, entrants must say in no more than 100 words what their project is about and how it is tackling poverty and inequality in Harrow

Potential entrants can find out how to make the most of their bid at a workshop at Harrow Baptist Church Hall in College Road, Harrow, tomorrow (July 18).

Five winners will be selected from the competition entrants and will be awarded £1,000 each.

Projects entering the competition must demonstrate their impact in strengthening voices to those unable to do so, provide community activities for different groups of people in order to address their needs and encourage support groups to provide advice.

Entries are open until July 22 at 12pm. Successful applicants will be announced on July 26.
