A serious crash is causing severe delays on the M25 this afternoon.
The accident involved two cars and vans, as well as a lorry before J24 A111 Stagg Hill (Potters Bar) heading anticlockwise.
Three lanes have been closed as a result, although traffic is still flowing past the scene on lane one.
It has caused congestion to J26 (Waltham Abbey). The A10 is also being affected both ways at J25 (Enfield) due to a closure on the entry slip road for traffic management.
Expected travel time is currently estimated at over an hour while work continues to clear the scene. Emergency services are currently working with traffic officers to resume normal traffic conditions.
An earlier broken down caravan had also caused disruption before J24 – and all traffic was held while the caravan was towed to a safe location.
