A police helicopter was called in after a car failed to stop for police.
At 12.40am this morning (Wednesday), police attempted to stop a blue Ford Focus in Lombardy Way, near Theobald Street, Borehamwood.
The driver allegedly failed to stop and police pursued, with the support of the police helicopter.
A male was subsequently detained by officers at around 1am.
• A 32-year-old man from Luton was arrested on suspicion of failing to stop and going equipped for theft of a motor vehicle. He remains in police custody at this time.
