Abbots Langley boxer Shannon Courtenay continued her unbeaten start as a professional with success over Roz Mari Silyanova on Saturday at the O2.
The bantamweight fighter won on points in a packed Matchroom show headlined by David Allen’s heavyweight bout against Lucas Browne.
Despite the win over her Bulgarian counterpart, Courtenay admitted to being frustrated after the fight.
On Twitter, she said: “Another win last night and the journey continues. Last night was a frustrating opponent but a great learning fight in the early stages of my career. The support was amazing and I can’t thank you all enough.”
Courtenay won the fight on a referee’s score of 40-36 and made it two wins from two since her professional debut in March.
