A person tragically died on the train line this morning.
At 5.37am police officers were called to Wembley Central station to reports of a casualty on the tracks.
Despite the best effort of paramedics the person was pronounced dead at the scene.
A spokesperson for British Transport Police said: "Paramedics also attended however a person way sadly pronounced dead at the scene.
"Officers are now working to identify the person and inform their family.
"This incident is not currently being treated as suspicious and a file will be prepared for the coroner.”
The incident caused delays on the London Overground which were still being felt towards midday.
Transport for London warned of minor delays between Watford Junction and Euston, including Bushey and Carpenders Park, at 11am.
