West Ham striker Andy Carroll has put his nine-bedroom house up for sale for £5 million.

The Hammers player lives in the home in High Road, Chigwell with his fiancé, former TOWIE star Billi Mucklow, and two sons Arlo, three, and Wolf, one.

Listed on property website Rightmove at £4,999,995, the house boasts a monochrome-themed interior design complete with a cinema and games room.

Although the one acres of garden are landscaped, there is little in the way of planting, with a set of goalposts a clue to the owner's profession.

Estate agent John Thoma says on Rightmove: "A spectacular nine bedroom property set in over one acre of private gated landscaped grounds, this home has more 8,000sq ft of luxurious living space and includes an amazing huge open plan bespoke kitchen / breakfast / living room, a cinema room, lounge, dining room / orangery, annexe with games room with bar."

The house is largely decorated in black and white, with white walls and black detailing, and plush grey furniture and rugs.

Downstairs there is a futuristic black and white kitchen and a cinema room decorated in greys with black walls and expansive sofas.

The black spiral staircase features a statement chandelier and upstairs many of the bedrooms have fitted wardrobes and white surfaces.

One room in particular features a giant mirror facing down onto the double bed.

The garden also boasts a huge space with goalposts and there is a spacious conservatory attached to the side of the house.

The sale has prompted several football fans to believe the 30-year-old striker’s contract will not be renewed at the end of the season.

It is believed Carroll may head to the US or is in talks of a £2 million transfer to Tottenham Hotspur to cover for Marko Arnautovic.
