The Snooker Shoot Out is returning to the Watford Colosseum for the third consecutive year in 2019.
The tournament, which will be sponsored for the first time by BetVictor, features single frame matches, played over a maximum of ten minutes, with a shot clock of 15 seconds for the first five minutes and 10 seconds for the last five.
It will be held at the Colosseum from February 21 to 24 and will see 128 players battle for the trophy.
World Snooker chairman Barry Hearn said: “It is one of the most keenly anticipated events of the season due to its distinctive and exciting format. This appeals to new fans and helps us reach out to a different audience.
“The Shoot Out is the final event before the cut off for the Players Championship so it comes at a crucial time of the season. I expect to see a strong field packed with many of the world’s top stars.
“For the fans in the arena and the millions watching on broadcasters including Eurosport and Quest it will be four days of thrilling action.”
Tickets for the Shoot Out are on sale now and start at just £15. For details, visit www.worldsnooker.com/tickets
