A new nursery welcomed a host of guests to a special ceremony as it officially opened its doors.
Bright Little Stars Stanmore invited a number of councillors, including the Mayor of Harrow, as well as Harrow East MP Bob Blackman and the Deputy Mayor of London for Business to the grand unveiling.
Situated in Stanmore Place, the nursery hopes to create “memories that will last a lifetime” in its three learning rooms and communal garden.
Cllr Ameet Jogia, who represents Canons, said: “It is a pleasure to welcome Bright Little Stars to Stanmore.
“There is a shortage of high quality childcare in the immediate area and so the nursery’s opening will be very welcome by local residents.
“Aside from providing jobs, the nursery will also be contributing to our local community by offering use of its dedicated community space for local groups and organisations.”
