How can life go on after the Holocaust?

This is the 2017 theme for Harrow's Holocaust Memorial Day Event at Harrow arts centre in Hatch End.

The choir at Harrow school and pupils from Nower Hill High School will perform on the night, as well as the Cantorial Singers on Monday January 30.

Holocaust survivor Mala Tribich MBE will share her story on the night.

Ms Tribich is originally from Poland, and was forced to feel her home country when Nazis invaded in 1939.

Representative from each of our Harrow Interfaith faith groups will unite on stage to participate in lighting memorial candles, to mark Harrow coming together as one.

Harrow Interfaith is a voluntary organisation and is made up of individuals and representatives of faith groups.

The group works with the Harrow Standing Advisory Council for Religious Education (SACRE) and contributes to religious education and collective worship in schools.

Interfaith Chairman, Jack Lynes said: “This is the first time that the event is under the auspices of Harrow Interfaith. I retire as its Chairman in March, and you will, I am sure, appreciate how proud I am of this event.”

The evening will begin at 7pm. Visit the website for more information.
