Edward Emanuel Burndam, 49, of Exchange Road, Watford. On February 24, 2016, stole a jacket belonging to Primark. Commission of a further offence whilst subject to order of conditional discharge. On October 7, 2016, failed to surrender to custody. Two counts. On April 29, 2016, attempted to steal a TV belonging to Tesco. On August 9, 2016, stole a jacket belonging to TK Maxx. Committed to prison for 12 weeks suspended for 12 months. Costs: £115.

Darivsz Noga, 45, of Whippendell Road, Watford. On October 11, 2016, was in charge of a vehicle after consuming so much alcohol that the proportion in breath was 44 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. The legal limit is 35 microgrammes. Fine, costs: £380. 10 penalty points.

Dulip Ranga Matharaarachchi, 34, of Courtlands Close, Watford. On July 30, 2016, used a vehicle at a speed exceeding the legal limit of 30mph. Fine, costs: £377. Six penalty points.

Friday, October 14

Shane Connor Jones, 24, of Charter Place, Watford. On August 26, 2016, stole a Bluetooth speaker belonging to Clas Ohlson. Fine, compensation, costs: £174.99.

Ardit Pepaj, 21, of Water Lane, Watford. On September 27, 2016, used a vehicle dangerously on a road. On same date, being the driver of a vehicle failed to stop the vehicle on being required to do so by a constable in uniform. Committed to prison for 12 weeks suspended for 12 months. Disqualified from driving for 24 months. Fine, costs: £450.

Saturday, October 15

Jordan Courtney Ricketts, 20, of Moor View, Watford. On September 18, 2016, stole a sandwich belonging to BB Muffins. On October 14, 2016, had in his possession two small bags of cannabis. On September 24, 2016, had in his possession nine individual bags of cannabis. Fine, compensation, costs: £248.

Monday, October 17

Stuart John Jarvis, 39, of Prestwick Road, Watford. On July 13, 2016, had in his possession a small bag of cannabis. On October 15, 2016, had in his possession one container of cannabis. Fine, costs: £415.

Nigel Gill, 45, of Charter Place, Watford. On September 1, 2016, stole meat belonging to Marks and Spencer. Commission of a further offence whilst subject to a conditional discharge order. Fine, costs: £195.

Vijayakala Ratanarajah, 45, of Harwoods Road, Watford. On July 4, 2016, stole a bottle of Olay cream belonging to Superdrug. Discharged conditionally for six months. Costs: £105.

Robert Henry Dorkings, 29, of St Pauls Way, Watford. On March 12, 2016, stole loose change belonging to a person. Committed to prison for two weeks. Compensation: £85.

Tomasz Tadeusz Gacek, 35, of Purlings Road, Bushey. On August 5, 2016, assaulted a person by beating her. Two counts. Committed to prison suspended for 12 months. Overall length of sentence 12 weeks. Costs: £440.

Gabriella Marie Federico, 28, of Judge Street, Watford. On September 28, 2016, assaulted a police constable in the execution of his duty. On September 29, 2016, was guilty while drunk of disorderly behaviour. On same date, wilfully obstructed a police constable in the execution of his duty. Fine, costs: £270.

Vishal Vinod, 25, of St James Road, Watford. On August 12, 2016, had in his possession a small quantity of cannabis. Fine, costs: £190.

Charmaine Purcell, 39, of Smith Street, Watford. Between June 9, 214, and June 22, 2015, dishonestly failed to notify Watford Borough Council of a change of circumstances which she knew would affect her entitlement to Housing Benefit. Between May 5, 2014, and July 2, 2015, dishonestly failed to notify the Department for Work and Pensions of a change of circumstances which she knew would affect her entitlement to Job Seekers Allowance. Community order made. Carry out unpaid work for 77 hours within the next 12 months. Costs: £145.
