A non-league football team has made a clean sweep of tournaments in Harrow, claiming an unprecedented quadruple trophy haul.

Broadfield Laurels FC was started by Robbie Pearce and David Webster and are sponsored by The Laurels pub in Harrow Weald.

Sebastien Simpson took over management of the club last year, guiding them to the first ever unbeaten quadruple in the Harrow league.

Mr Simpson said: “This was made even more special by the fact we are all friends and not like other teams who just bring in good players for the big games.

“Every one of our players has contributed but a special mention to our wing wizard Billy Smith who scored over 30 goals.

“This year we would like to add to our four trophies by winning back the county cup and adding the Sunday FA cup.”
