MUSIC

There’s a whole host of musical talent tuning up ready to appear at the Beck Theatre this season, starting with the fabulous The Three Degrees (January 26), and continuing on a nostalgia trip with Showaddywaddy (February 6) and Steeleye Span (February 17). Things go off with a swing with Claire Martin and Ray Gelato (February 28), while Aled Jones brings us his Songs of Hope and Inspiration (March 8), and legends of Irish music The Fureys will get you ready for St Patrick’s Day (March 16).

If ‘80s skirt-ripping-off is more your style, don’t miss Cheryl, Mike and Jay, formerly of Bucks Fizz (April 30), or, for musical impersonations, Joe Longthorne is in town (May 3).

For a jazzier take on things, head over to Harrow Arts Centre for performances by Tina May (March 27) and the legend that is Courtney Pine (April 24). He grew up in Harrow so will be sure to put on an extra special performance for his home crowd.

As usual there is a stellar line-up heading to the SSE Arena Wembley this year, beginning with Queen and Adam Lambert (February 23), and continuing with The X Factor Live Tour (March 12), Patti LaBelle (March 17), System of a Down (April 10), and Maroon 5 (May 26 and 28).

SHOWS

If it’s spectacular shows and gripping drama you’re after, there’s something for everyone at the Beck Theatre. The Rat Pack returns to town with special guest Kenny Lynch (January 17), while Crissy Rock, Leah Bell and Dolores Porretta Brown star in Dirty Dusting as three cleaning ladies who, past their sell-by dates, set up their own phone sex line (April 29), and Claire Sweeney stars in the comedy Sex in Suburbia, about dating, men and finding Mr Right (May 2).

Over at Wembley, get ready to enter an enchanted world with Disney on Ice presents Magical Ice Festival (April 23 to 26), or the sci fi realm of the Doctor Who Symphonic Spectacular (May 23 and 24).

COMEDY

Get your funny bone well and truly tickled at the Beck, as Al Murray celebrates 20 years at the lager top with his new show One Man, One Guvnor (March 10 and April 24), or Lee Nelson as he gets Suited and Booted (April 6). Time Vine takes to the stage with lots of new jokes, silly songs and pun-slinging (April 16), and Stewart Francis is Pun Gent (May 8).

There’s even more at Harrow Arts Centre – Milton Jones pays a visit to the Temple of Da (January 29), Jeremy Hardy plans to make you laugh and think at the same time (February 25), while Lee Nelson is stopping off here as well (March 26).

At the SSE Arena Wembley, catch the Comic Relief Danceathon, where Claudia Winkleman and celebrity friends will be dancing for six hours in the name of charidee (March 8).

DANCE

If you want something to get your toes tapping, Strictly 2014 winner Pasha Kovalev brings his new solo show, Life Through Dance, to town (May 9), while his TV compatriots will be taking to the stage at SSE Arena Wembley for Strictly Come Dancing Live! (February 5 and 6).

KIDS

There’s plenty for the kids to do this year as well, beginning with Octonauts and the Deep Sea Volcano Adventure at the Beck (January 24 and 25), followed by The Chuckle Brothers (February 18), The Sooty Show (March 30), and Ben and Holly’s Little Kingdom (June 6 and 7).

At Harrow Arts Centre, your little ones can enjoy Duck in a Truck (February 16), Captain Calamity’s Mega Party (March 29), Sid’s Show with Sid from CBeebies (April 26), while at SSE Arena Wembley CBeebies Live! Presents Justin and Friends: Mr Tumble’s Circus (April 4 and 5).
