THE HERTSMERE BOROUGH COUNCIL NOTICE OF MAKING THE HERTSMERE BOROUGH COUNCIL (ALDENHAM AVENUE AND CHRISTCHURCH CRESCENT, RADLETT) (RESTRICTION OF WAITING) ORDER 2017 AND THE HERTSMERE BOROUGH COUNCIL (ELDON AVENUE, BOREHAMWOOD) (PERMIT HOLDER PARKING PLACES) ORDER 2016(AMENDMENT NO. 2) ORDER 2017

NOTICE is given that the Hertsmere Borough Council, (pursuant to arrangements made with Hertfordshire County Council) has made the above named Orders under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which is to:

1. Introduce No waiting at Anytime restrictions opposite property number 29 Christchurch Crescent.

2. Change existing single yellow line outside 5 Aldenham Avenue to double yellow line to prevent obstructive parking.

3. Reduce the length of parking bay outside 11 Christchurch Crescent and replace with a single yellow line.

And to:

4. Alter parking places in Eldon Avenue, Borehamwood, which were to be implemented in accordance with the schedules of a previous Order made in 2016. The new footway parking bay which was due to be implemented as stipulated in the 2016 Traffic Order is to be relocated. Echelon parking bays which were to be implemented outside Hillary House will now run parallel to the kerb.

The two Orders will come into effect on 1st January 2018. Documents giving more detailed particulars of the Orders may be inspected from 21st December 2017 during normal office hours at Central Reception, Hertsmere Borough Council, Civic Offices, Elstree Way, Borehamwood WD6 1WA, or viewed at www.hertsmere.gov.uk

Any person wishing to question the validity of the Orders, or of any provision contained therein, on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or on the grounds that any requirement of the Act or any Instrument made under it has not been complied with in relation to the Order, may within 6 weeks from the date of this Notice apply to the High Court for this purpose
