NOTICE OF CONFIRMATION OF A DIVERSION ORDER
HIGHWAYS ACT 1980, SECTION 119 HERTFORDSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL (SHENLEY 23B) DIVERSION ORDER 2015
On 31 October 2016 the Secretary of State for the Environment confirmed with modification the above Order made under section 119 of the Highways Act 1980. The effect of the Order as confirmed is to divert the public footpath running from Shenley 23a at TL 2047 0099 along the north west side of the Catharine Bourne to Mimms Lane at TL 2034 0084 and create a public footpath running from the junction of Ridge 20 at TL 2048 0099 along the south east side of the Catharine Bourne to TL 2043 0091 and then south east to join Mimms Lane at TL 2049 0085 as shown on the Order Plan. A copy of the order and the order plan may be seen free of charge at front reception of Hertfordshire County Council, County Hall, Hertford, from 9.00 am to 4.00 pm on Monday to Friday and at Hertsmere Borough Council, Civic Offices, Elstree Way, Borehamwood WD6 1WA. Copies of the order and plan may be bought from Hertfordshire County Council at the price of £2. The Order comes into force on the date on which Hertfordshire County Council certify that the terms of Paragraph 1 of the Order have been complied with, but if any person aggrieved by the Order wants to question its validity, or that of any provision contained in it, on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the Highways Act 1980, as amended, or on the grounds that any requirement of the Act, as amended, or of any regulation made under the Act has not been complied with in relation to the Order, he or she may, under paragraph 2 of Schedule 2 to the Act as applied by paragraph 5 of Schedule 6 to the Act, within 6 weeks from 18 November 2016, make an application to the High Court.
THE HERTFORDSHIRE (TEMPORARY CLOSING OF THE SERVICE ROAD FRONTING NOS.1-7 ELSTREE WAY, BOREHAMWOOD) ORDER 2016
NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all traffic from using the service road fronting Nos.1-7 Elstree Way, Borehamwood from its junction with Warwick Road north westwards for a distance of approximately 30 metres ("the Road"). An alternative route will be via Warwick Road, A5183 Elstree Way and the service road fronting Nos.1-7 Elstree Way.
The Order is needed because gas connection works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 5 December 2016 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.
A copy of the proposed Order may be inspected free of charge at County Hall, Hertford between the hours of 9.00am and 5.00pm (excluding weekends, bank and public holidays). THE HERTFORDSHIRE (ELDON AVENUE, BOREHAMWOOD) (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) ORDER 2016
NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to introduce a prohibition of driving motor vehicles restriction in Borehamwood as specified in the Schedule to this Notice. The Order will come into effect on Monday 1 May 2017.
Documents giving more detailed particulars of the Order may be inspected from 17 November 2016 to 28 December 2016 during normal office hours, at the offices of Hertsmere Borough Council, Civic Offices, Elstree Way, Borehamwood and at Main Reception, Hertfordshire County Council, County Hall, Pegs Lane, Hertford or viewed on line at www.hertfordshire.gov.uk/trafficorders by clicking on PTRO's and looking in Hertsmere BC (Under Ref: H/001/16)

Any person wishing to question the validity of the Order, or of any provision contained in it, on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or on the grounds that any requirement of the Act or any Instrument made under it has not been complied with in relation to the Order, may within 6 weeks from the date of this Notice apply to the High Court for this purpose.
SCHEDULE: Prohibition of Driving motor vehicles - that section of road herein listed and as set out in the Order and accompanying plan - current restriction near Hilary House to be revoked and relocated to the vicinity of 17 Eldon Avenue.
