(TEMPORARY CLOSING AND TEMPORARY WAITING RESTRICTIONS IN B5378 (LONDON ROAD/BLACK LION HILL), SHENLEY) ORDER 2021

HERTFORDSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL:
(TEMPORARY CLOSING AND TEMPORARY WAITING RESTRICTIONS IN B5378 (LONDON ROAD/BLACK LION HILL), SHENLEY) ORDER 2021

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of B5378 (London Road/Black Lion Hill), Shenley from its {unction with Rectory Lane north westwards for a distance of approximately 123m ("the length of Roads"), except for access. An alternative route will be via B5378 (London Road/Woodhall Lane/Green Street/Cowley Hill/Shenley Road/Allum Lane), A5183 (Waning Street/Cobden Hill/Watling Street/Radlett Road/ Frogmore/Park Street/Watling Street), A414 North Orbital Road and B5378 (Shenley Lane/Shenleybury/Black Lion Hill). ADDITIONALLY all vehicles are prohibited from waiting at any time on both sides of this length of Roads whilst works are in progress.
The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the length of Roads.
The Order has been made and shall come into force on 3 May 2021 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the length of Roads. A copy of the proposed Orders may be inspected free
of charge at County Hall, Hertford between the hours of 9am and 5pm (excluding weekends, bank and public holidays).
