TEMPORARY CLOSING OF FOOTPATH RICKMANSWORTH 59
NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council has extended, with
consent of the Secretary of State, the Order which was made under Section
14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. To prohibit pedestrians from
using that length of Footpath Rickmansworth 59, from Stocker’s Farm south
to county boundary, for an approximate distance of 340 metres.
Alternative route: via field alongside closure
The purpose of the Order is to enable filming works to take place.
The section of Footpath will continue to be closed for up to 6 months
until 19th January 2021 or completion of the works whichever is sooner.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING AND TEMPORARY WAITING RESTRICTIONS IN
VARIOUS ROADS IN WATFORD) ORDER NO.2 2020
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order
under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all
vehicular traffic from using the following lengths of roads (“the Roads”),
except for access and to prohibit all vehicles from waiting at any time on
both sides of these lengths of Roads whilst works are in progress:-
1. that length of Aldbury Close, Watford from its junction with The Pelhams
south westwards and north westwards for its entire length.
There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being
carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be
maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.
2. that length of Fairfolds, Watford from its junction with Bowmans Green
north eastwards, northwards, north westwards and northwards for its
entire length.
An alternative route will be via Bowmans Green and Phillipers.
3. that length of Phillipers, Watford from its junction with Fairfolds north
westwards for a distance of approximately 95m.
An alternative route will be via Bowmans Green and Phillipers.
4. that length of Northfield Gardens, Watford from its westernmost junction
with Bushey Mill Lane north eastwards, south eastwards and south
westwards for a distance of approximately 398m.
An alternative route will be via Bushey Mill Lane.
The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near
the Roads.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 20 July 2020 for a period
of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect
at the times indicated by signs on or near the Roads.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF THE FOOTPATH SITUATED BETWEEN NO.17A
AND NO.19 KINGSFIELD ROAD, WATFORD) ORDER 2020
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order
under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all
pedestrians from using the footpath situated between No.17A and No.19
Kingsfield Road, Watford from its junction with Kingsfield Road north
eastwards for a distance of approximately 61m (“the Footpath”).
An alternative route will be via the footway situated on the east side of
Kingsfield Road, the footway situated on the south side of A4125 Eastbury
Road and the footway situated on the east side of Eastbury Road.
The Order is needed because footpath repair works are proposed to be
executed on or near the Footpath.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 20 July 2020 for a period of
up to 6 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at
the times indicated by signs on or near the Footpath.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF A411 LOWER HIGH STREET, WATFORD)
ORDER 2020
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an
Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit
all vehicular traffic from using the northbound carriageway of A411 Lower
High Street, Watford from its junction with the A4125 Eastbury Road/A411
Chalk Hill roundabout north westwards for a distance of approximately 170m
(“the Road”).
An alternative route will be via A411 Chalk Hill, A4008 (Aldenham Road/
Pinner Road), A4125 Eastbury Road, A4178 (Deacons Hill/Wiggenhall Road/
Farraline Road/Fearnley Street/The Hornets/Merton Road/Cassio Road),
A412 (Rickmansworth Road/St Albans Road), A411 Beechen Grove, Lower
High Street and A411 Lower High Street
or via A411 (Chalk Hills/London Road/High Street/Sparrows Herne/ Elstree
Road), A41 Tylers Way/Elton Way/North Western Avenue), A4008 Stephenson
Way and A411 (Waterfields Way/Lower High Street).
The Order is needed because the replacement of existing gas mains is
proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 22 July 2020 for a period
of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect
at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order
under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all
vehicular traffic from using that length of Gallows Hill, Abbots Langley/
Station Road, Kings Langley from its junction with Abbots Road north
westwards for a distance of approximately 120m (“the length of Roads”).
An alternative route will be via Gallows Hill, Gallows Hill Lane, High Street,
Bedmond Road, High Street, Toms Lane, Primrose Hill and Station Road.
The Order is needed because bridge inspection works are proposed to be
executed on or near the length of Roads.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 18 July 2020 for a period of
up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at
the times indicated by signs on or near the length of Roads.

1. that length of Church Street, Rickmansworth from its junction with
Skidmore Way south eastwards, south westwards, south eastwards and
south westwards to its junction with the A404 Riverside Drive/Church Street
roundabout, a distance of approximately 140m.
An alternative route will be via Church Street, High Street, A412 (Park Road/
Rectory Road) and A404 Riverside Drive.
2. the A404 Riverside Drive/Church Street roundabout, Rickmansworth from
its junction with A404 Riverside Drive clockwise for its entire length.

ORDER 2020
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order
under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all
vehicular traffic from using that length of High Street, Rickmansworth from
a point 20m west of its junction with Station Road westwards for a distance
of approximately 50m (“the Road”).
An alternative route will be via High Street, Church Street, A404 Riverside
Drive, Wensum Way and High Street.
The Order is needed because utility connection works are proposed to be
executed on or near the Road.
The Order has been made and shall come into force on 5 July 2020 for a
period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take

(TEMPORARY TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT MEASURES ON HIGH STREET,
WATFORD) ORDER 2020
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made an Order under
Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular
traffic from using that length of High Street, Watford from its junction with
Water Lane north westwards to its junction with Market Street, a distance
of approximately 375m (“the Road”).
An alternative route will be via High Street, A411 Exchange Road and
Market Street.
ADDITIONALLY all vehicles are prohibited from waiting at any time on both
sides of this length of road except for loading.
ADDITIONALLY all pedal cyclists are temporarily prohibited from using the
cycle way situated on the north eastern side of High Street, Watford from
a point 21m south east of its junction with King Street, a distance of
approximately 150m.
ADDITIONALLY the existing prescribed routes Order on High Street, Watford
will be temporarily suspended to enable all vehicles proceeding south
eastwards along this road to turn right into A411 Exchange Road.
The Order is required due to the need to undertake social
distancing measures.
The Order has been made and it shall come into force on 3 July 2020 for a
period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take
effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Roads.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF BRIDGE ROAD/HUNTON BRIDGE HILL,

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order
under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all
vehicular traffic from using that length of Bridge Road/Hunton Bridge Hill,
Hunton Bridge from a point 230m north east of its junction with A41 Watford
Road north eastwards for a distance of approximately 88m (“the length of
Roads”).
An alternative route will be via Bridge Road, A41 (Watford Road/Hempstead
Road/North Western Avenue/Gadeside), Aerodrome Way, Langley Lane,
South Way and Hunton Bridge Hill.
The Order is needed because bridge inspection works are proposed to be
executed on or near the length of Roads.
The Order has been made and shall come into force on 6 July 2020 for
a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only
take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the length of Roads.

NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council in order to improve
road safety proposes under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to introduce
new 20mph speed restrictions in parts of Watford as specified in the
Schedules to this Notice.
Documents giving more detailed particulars of the proposals are held on
deposit at the offices of Hertfordshire County Council, Pegs Lane, Hertford.
However, due to the current COVID 19 emergency, in particular the restrictions
imposed on Social Distancing, the documents may be viewed online from
