Problems continue to dog the newly-opened paddling pools at Cassiobury Park.
Last week it was revealed that a number of breakages and malfunctions had plagued the popular pools since their official opening at the start of the month.

And this week it was reported that the pools had been closed “due to unforeseen circumstances”, with no further explanation immediately offered by Watford Borough Council.
However the latest closure has now been attributed to a “minor technical issue” with the pool filtration system.
The smaller paddling pool will remain closed today (Thursday) and Friday so the issue can be resolved.
The bigger pool and splash park have now reopened after being closed intermittently over the last two days.
The council apologised for any inconvenience caused.
