Former Watford winger Ashley Young has been named in England’s World Cup squad.
Young, who now plies his trade for Manchester United, will travel to Russia as part of Gareth Southgate’s 23-man squad.
The Three Lions face Belgium, Tunisia and Panama in the group stages of the competition which starts in June.
England kick off their campaign against Tunisia on June 18 before taking on Panama six days later and finishing the group stage against Belgium on June 28.
Young made 110 appearances for Watford between 2003 and 2007 before earning a move to Aston Villa and eventually moving to Old Trafford in 2011.
He was part of the Hornets team which gained promotion to the Premier League in 2006 and scored 23 times for the club.
The 32-year-old Watford acedemy product took to twitter to reveal his delight at being selected to represent his country at a World Cup for the first time.
