Lithuanian goalkeeper Giedrius Arlauskis has had his contract cancelled by mutual consent after two years at Vicarage Road.

The 29-year-old looks set to move to CFR Cluj in Romania, the same country he joined the Hornets from when moving from Steaua Bucharest in 2015.

Since then, he featured twice for the Watford first-team, firstly in a League Cup defeat to Preston in 2015 before coming on as a substitute to replace Heurelho Gomes in a 3-2 win at Aston Villa in November of that year.

Arlauskis has 23 caps for Lithuania, and has made 166 professional club appearances in his career.
