Alaves full-back Kiko Femenia has today confirmed that he will be leaving the La Liga side, and could be on his way to Watford.

In February, Femenia was linked to the Hornets when reports claimed he had already signed a pre-contract agreement at Vicarage Road.

The 26-year-old today posted on his Instagram account to say he would not be accepting a new contract he was offered by Alaves, which has now seen him again linked with a move to the Premier League.

Femenia, who is a right-back but can also play on the left, spent time with both Spanish giants Barcelona and Real Madrid as a youngster.

He was a big part the Alves side which finished an impressive ninth in La Liga, and also reached the Copa Del Rey final where they lost to Barcelona.
