Courteney Cox has apparently insisted she isn't ready to be with a new man after splitting from husband David Arquette.

The former Friends actress split from David in 2010 after 11 years of marriage but revealed she isn't ready to get intimate with another man just yet, despite encouragement from her ex-husband, reports Access Hollywood.

The 47-year-old opened up on The Howard Stern Show, telling the shock jock: "I'm just not ready. I'm not saying I'm not ready to have a make-out session, I'm just not ready to - I don't know. I'm not lying... I've not had a man since David."

She revealed the 40-year-old Scream actor was supporting her to move on.

"He even says to me, 'Courteney, it's time to get out there'. He's comfortable with whoever that would be with."

Courteney and David - who have a seven-year-old daughter, Coco - have remained close since they announced their separation in October 2010, with the actress recently saying her estranged hubby is still her best friend.

David is seven years younger than Courteney and the Cougar Town star told the radio show host she still likes younger men.

"I always considered myself lucky to be able to pull in a younger guy. I still like younger guys," she said.

But she also revealed: "No guy's asked me out. It's not easy to meet people. They don't call me."
