Labrinth has revealed an unlikely dream duet partner - fellow Simon Cowell protege Susan Boyle.
The Earthquake star, who is signed to The X Factor mogul's Syco label, has teamed up with Tinie Tempah and Professor Green in the past - and reckons Britain's Got Talent runner-up SuBo could be next.
"I love that woman. I'm hoping for (a duet) but Simon says 'Labrinth, it's not a good idea'. I'm like, 'Yes it is, it'll work'," he teased.
Labrinth, who releases his debut album Electronic Earth next month, added: "What I'm going to do is, I'm going to quietly try and get her in the studio, try and get her to record something, and then show Simon it and he's going to be like, 'This is amazing'."
The singer-songwriter and producer said working with Simon - known for his withering put-downs on The X Factor and Britain's Got Talent - was going smoothly so far.
"We haven't had an argument yet. Don't worry, it's going to happen though. There are emails where it's like, 'I'm not sure about that one' and you shout each others' ideas down. We're both headstrong," he added.
"(When I signed to Syco) everybody was like, 'Are you really sure, are you crazy?' but I think it was just a fun thing to do. Also, Simon's an amazing entrepreneur and businessman. So far it's proved to be great."
:: Labrinth teamed up with MasterCard to give a fan the chance to duet with him in a Priceless TV advert shown on ITV1 on the night of The Brit Awards, February 21. To win a Priceless Duet with Jessie J go to www.somethingforthefans.co.uk.
