Wealdstone have strengthened their squad by signing two players ahead of the new season.

Teenage midfielder George Nicholas has signed after impressing during pre-season and has experience at Notts County and at Lewes, where he was on loan from the League One side last season.

Stones manager Gordon Bartlett has also captured defender Nathan Webb who has previously featured for Hayes and Yeading in the Blue Square Premier and has experience at Farnborough Town.

Meanwhile all of last season's successful squad have re-signed Ryman forms.

In other news, defender James Hammond has made a welcome return to the Stones squad this past week after unavailability, but Tommy Brewer, Sean Cronin and Chris O'Leary will miss the start of the season due to suspensions carried over from the last campaign.

The Stones will kick-off the new Ryman Premier campaign on Saturday with a home match against Met Police.
