Leeds United have confirmed they have turned down two approaches for former Wealdstone striker Jermaine Beckford.
The 25-year-old, whose contract runs out next summer, was placed on the transfer list in May and any move would benefit the Stones with the Ryman Premier side having a sell-on clause of more than ten per cent.
Beckford's agent Nick Rubery said: "There has been interest from other clubs and I would anticipate something happening soon, maybe in the next couple of weeks when the transfer market begins to start hotting up."
