Crusaders set for Twenty20 test

Middlesex CCC face their biggest game of the season tonight when they meet Lancashire in the Twenty20 Cup quarter-finals.

The clash will take place at the Brit Oval because Lord's is unavailable due to England playing South Africa in the first Test.

Ed Joyce captains a 13-man squad which includes in-form batsmen Dawid Malan and Eoin Morgan. The Crusaders are likely to be severely tested by the visitors, whose team has been boosted by the return to form and fitness of former England skipper Andrew Flintoff.

Toby Radford, first team coach, said: "We've had a great run in the competition so far, winning eight of our ten group matches, and are delighted to be up against such a great side as Lancashire.

"We're going to treat the match as any other game, with the same preparation as our previous successes, as we don't want to put too much pressure on the players who are all up for the challenge."
