Harrow have been handed a shock reprieve from their relegation from the Ryman Premier League, and will instead retain their status for another season.

The club, which finished fourth bottom of the league with 53 points, has been chosen by the FA to be saved because of the points per game ratio Steve Baker's men racked up during the campaign.

They became the first club in more than four decades to be relegated from the league with more than 50 points, following a nine-game winless streak at the end of the season.

The move comes after Worcester City resigned from the National League North, citing excessive costs, and were re-allocated a spot in the Midland League.
