Harrow Borough pulled off a shock 3-1 replay victory at Margate on Tuesday to progress to the first round of the FA Cup.

The two sides met for their fourth-qualifying round replay in Kent last night, after they had drawn 2-2 at Earlsmead on Saturday.

Boro started the game well against the side from the league above, with pressure on the Margate goal earning them two corners in the first few minutes.

They came close to opening the scoring when Francis Babalola got on the end of one, but he headed onto the roof of the net.

Babalola eventually got his goal when he scored in the 39th minute to give the away side a deserved lead.

Margate found their way back into the game after the break, and Elliott Buchanan's 57th-minute goal made things level.

With both sides battling for a place in the first round, it was Borough who gained the advantage once again.

In-form Ibraham Meite caused havoc for the hosts’ defence, before Lewis Driver headed home to make it 2-1.

Meite then scored himself in the 81st minute to cap off an impressive performance for the visitors.

The win earned Harrow Borough a trip to League One Northampton Town on the weekend of November 5-6, and another £12,500 in prize money to add to the £15,000 already banked.
