Wealdstone player of the season Bradley Hudson-Odoi has agreed a move to Sutton United.

The 27-year-old attacker scored 15 goals last season for the Stones and his form has earned a move this summer to the newly-promoted National League club.

Wealdstone tried to keep the striker at Grosvenor Vale but the opportunity to move up a level has convinced him to join Sutton.

Stones boss Gordon Bartlett told the club website: “Bradley wanted to advise me of his decision as he will be away soon on a family break. This is a great challenge for him and an opportunity to play at a higher level of football.

“This is another player in a long line at Wealdstone that we have developed and progressed. Bradley has done very well at Wealdstone and he will always be welcome at Grosvenor Vale.”

Another player leaving the club is midfielder Scott Davies after he decided to move on.

Bartlett said: “I have been in discussions with Scott but he has informed me that he has received a couple of excellent offers and we must accept that he is off to pastures new.

“We thank him for his services and some great memories over the last 18 months and wish him all the very best for the future.”
