Wealdstone have signed striker James Demetriou on loan from Premier League side Swansea City and re-signed Nathan Mavila from West Ham United.

Demetriou, 20, joined the Swans from Championship Nottingham Forest in 2014 but has yet to make his debut for the Welsh club.

Born in Australia, Demetriou is a Cypriot youth international with caps for the country's Under-21s.

He was fined after being charged with multiple breaches of the Football Association's rules regarding betting on football in 2015.

He was fined £700 after making 13 bets on football matches between December 3, 2013 and January 21, 2015.

Meanwhile, winger-cum-full-back Mavila has returned to Wealdstone on loan from West Ham United.

The 20-year-old made eight appearances last term and has signed a new loan deal until the end of April.

Mavila signed in time to be an unused substitute for Saturday's 2-2 draw at Maidstone United and came on at half time time of Monday's win over Hayes & Yeading United.
