Wealdstone battled to a 2-2 draw at Hemel Hempstead Town in their Boxing Day clash.

Gordon Bartlett's side opened the scoring after 35 minutes when Jefferson Louis prodded the ball across the area and Wes Parker netted from close range.

But the Stones conceded a second-half penalty when Parker fouled an opponent in the area and Oliver Hawkins levelled the match.

Wealdstone regained the lead shortly afterwards when Johnny Wright headed home at the far post.

The visitors were reduced to ten men after Parker was sent off in controversial circumstances after a scissor kick in the area which was deemed dangerous.

The Stones came under pressure in the closing stages and conceded a late equaliser when Graeme Montgomery fired home a strike.

Wealdstone's home game with in-form Sutton United was postponed on Monday due to a waterlogged pitch.

The Stones will play their return league match with Hemel Hempstead at home on Saturday. There will be segregation in place for the match.
