Harrow Borough ended a run of five league games without a win as they defeated Farnborough 3-1 on Tuesday evening to go 12th in the Isthmian Premier Division.

A brace from Spencer McCall and a Joshua Webb strike gave earned Harrow their seventh win of the campaign over lowly Farnborough at Earlsmead.

Harrow started the game stronger, passing the ball around calmly from the first whistle and creating chances. And they took the lead in the third minute with an attractive team goal.

Jack Waldren and Dylan Cascoe combined on the left flank as the latter crossed to set up Marc Charles-Smith. Charles-Smith with his back to goal laid the ball off to Webb who crashed a left-footed shot in off the post from 15 yards.

Harrow kicked on a placed Farnborough under further pressure and had efforts from Cascoe and David Taylor saved as they searched for a second.

But Farnborough weathered the storm and grew into the match, almost hitting back with a Tommy Wright shot which went just wide.

They did equalise, however, on 22 minutes as Nic Brown attacked Waldren, cutting inside before unleashing a left-footed curler into the bottom corner from twenty yards.

But Harrow picked themselves up immediately and regained the lead just four minutes later.

Again Waldren and Cascoe linked up well on the left squaring to Webb who floated a through ball over the Farnborough defence. McCall timed his run well and latched on to the pass before slotting home to put his side 2-1 up.

Taylor then went close for the home side with an overhead kick from a Michael Bryan cross before McCall gave Harrow a two-goal cushion.

After another clever run from midfield beat the offside trap he controlled Bryan's clever pass and slid the ball home from ten yards on 42 minutes. It capped a blistering half of football which ended 3-1.

There were no further goals in the second period but Harrow ought to have added a fourth through Taylor who hit the crossbar and later on had a goal dissallowed as the referee called play back for a foul in the build up.

McCall might of scored a hat-trick but hit the post before further chances from substitutes Connor French and Kamaron English went begging.

Despite their domination, the match finished 3-1 and Harrow now have a break from league action as top-of-the-table Dulwich Hamlet visit in an FA Trophy tie this Saturday.
