Lewis Putman has re-signed with Wealdstone on a dual-registration with Hanwell Town as the striker continues his recovery from a knee injury.

Putman initially joined the Stones last summer after scoring an astonishing 81 goals in all competitions for Oxhey Jets during the 2012/2013 campaign.

However, he suffered his knee injury during pre-season and was ruled out for the majority of Wealdstone’s Ryman Premier winning campaign.

He rejoined Oxhey Jets on a dual-registration contract with Wealdstone in January and featured for the Spartan South Midlands side towards the end of last season.

Jets boss Wayne Gladdy stated last week that the striker was again set to play for Jets but he will now represent Hanwell, who compete in the Southern Football League Division One Central, alongside the Stones.
