Bessborough CC were knocked out of the ECB National Club Championship after losing in the last over by one wicket at Ickenham.
The visitors were put into bat and Ian Barrie hit 25 as Bessborough reached 53 for three.
Opener Phil Bush made an impressive contribution as he scored 81 including three consecutive sixes.
Youngster Vivek Patel also showed plenty of form on his way to 56 as they finished up on 219 for nine.
The match was in the balance as Bessborough restricted Ickenham to 73 for four off 20 overs.
Nirav Ghantiwala chipped in with three for 49 while Roan Karkhanis took two for 56.
Eranda Jayasinghe took two for 26 to briefly swing the tie back in Bessborough’s favour as Ickenham stuttered to 164 for seven.
But the hosts recovered and needed only one run from the final over as they edged into the next round of the competition.
