Stones boss delighted with different scorers against Kings Langley

Wealdstone eased into the second qualifying round of the FA Cup after thrashing Kings Langley 6-1.
The Stones were far too strong for their opponents as they booked a home tie against Haringey Borough on Saturday, September 28.
Manager Gordon Bartlett said: “We created chances and the nice thing is there were lots of different scorers. We’ve had ten different scorers this season and 30 goals in ten games.
“To be unbeaten going into mid September I’m very pleased. There seems to be very positive vibes around the camp at the moment.”
Headers from Sean Cronin and Wes Parker put the Stones in control.
Parker added another goal before efforts from Scott McGleish, Reece Grant and Jack Hutchinson completed the victory.
Bartlett said: “It took us a little bit of time. It was their cup final but in the end our superiority came through.
Once we got the third in the second half it became comfortable but before that it caused them some problems.”
The Wealdstone boss added: “We’ve got another home tie against a side lower than us. They’re a good side and it could be a bit of a banana skin.
They’re middle of the table in the Essex League and we will not take them lightly because we want to go as far as we can.”
Wealdstone face five home games in a row over the next couple of weeks starting against Thamesmead Town on Saturday.
Bartlett said: “We have to try and capitalise on these home games and if we can build up momentum and take maximum points that will be ideal.
“We have confidence but we will make sure this does not turn into arrogance.”
