Greg Ngoyi continued his recent impressive form in front of goal in Wealdstone's 1-0 win over Enfield Town last night.
The striker scored late on to take his tally to seven as the Stones completed their pre-season programme.
Wealdstone suffered a blow before kick-off when goalkeeper Sean Thomas sprained his ankle, ruling him out for at least two weeks.
That gave an opportunity to 17-year-old Jonathan North, released by Watford at the end of last season, to impress between the sticks.
The first half was a scrappy affair with summer signing Scott Fitzgerald going close to opening the scoring with a free-kick that flew narrowly wide.
Enfield should have taken the lead before the break but Richard Morton fired a volley across the goal and wide of North's far post.
Fitzgerald came closer to breaking the deadlock in the second half but the ex-Watford striker failed to take advantage of a mistake by the Enfield goalkeeper.
Stones' boss Gordon Bartlett brought trialist Dan Gerrard and Ngoyi off the bench for the last 15 minutes and it was the latter that secured victory for the hosts.
The 22-year-old smashed the ball home after the Enfield keeper saved his initial effort.
Wealdstone begin their Ryman League campaign with a tough trip to Hastings United on Saturday.
